Sal Mondelli

Sal Mondelli is a strategic and visionary leader with experience in both growing businesses and turnaround situations, resulting in increased profitability. At Lumina, he focuses on assisting companies in problem identification, strategy development, improving sales processes, and achieving sustained results. He has deep expertise in developing direct and reseller channels, both domestic and international, as well as the sales initiatives to support those channels.

Prior to joining Lumina, Mondelli’s experience includes Managing Director of Jefferson Wells, EVP Sales and Services for Wausau Financial Systems, President and CEO of Transition Networks, EVP Consulting Services for Prodea Software and various executive, sales and marketing positions at IBM Corporation. In these capacities, he has developed strategic plans, hired management teams, implemented measurement systems, bought and integrated companies, and developed international reseller networks.

Volunteer activities include guest lecturer on sales and marketing at the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, and Adjunct Professor at Crown College.

Current board positions include: Chairman Burnsville Performing Arts Center Commission, Minneapolis YMCA, Make a Wish Foundation of Minnesota, and Fairview Ridges Hospital.

Mondelli received his M.S. in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, and a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD.
